Things You Need To Know Before Watching Bleach Thousand Year Blood War

THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE BLEACH THOUSAND YEAR BLOOD WAR

One of the big three, a hot favorite among the sword fanatics would finally make its return next month. We all know how we've missed those days when it was Ichigo yelling 'Getsuga Tenshou' at the top of his lungs.
A miracle in its truest sense, the anime is back and it’s looking better than ever. But before the first episode comes out, we've decided to fill you in about some details. These are things that you need to know before diving into this sequel that's considered the best arc by many fans out there.
Trust me, waiting for the first episode is going to be harder than ever by the time you're done with this article!

THE BANGER OPENING AND ENDING THEMES :

As if it wasn't obvious already, the animation is ready to carry bleach to the highest level. With an opening song by Tatsuya Kitani and an ending theme by Hiroyuki Sawano, attack on titan fans couldn't have asked for anything more to be honest.
Whether you were one of the many who were blown away by mob psycho 100 II or someone anxiously waiting for the new season of attack on titan, this right here is sure to give you that adrenaline rush!

THE ANIMATION STUDIO IS THE SAME :

Studio Pierrot and Bleach go a long way. In most cases, long running titles that are a million episodes long or so seem to switch studios every now and then. Sunrise, you know who I'm talking about. But Studio Pierrot made sure it was around when the child finally woke up from his slumber, the studio all armed and ready to make Bleach steal the show yet once again.

IT'S NOT GETTING THE TOKYO GHOUL TREATMENT :

It's been confirmed via multiple sources that Bleach would be animated as closely to the manga as possible. I know, the filler percentage already made the series a pain to watch for people new to the series. That's actually what made the series lose a lot of its impact in the old days in my opinion.

But fret not for it’s been declared that we aren't 'skipping' anything this time around. God knows how that execution slaughtered the likes of Tokyo Ghoul and The Promised Neverland and we for sure don't want one of the big three getting that treatment!

THE ANIME IS GOING TO AIR FOR A WHILE :

This might be misleading since Studio Pierrot aren't going to do stuff like the old times. Sure, Bleach is going on air next month but it's not going to be airing all year around or something. We're going to have seasons, basically the whole arc being split into a couple of ‘cours’ or so. I think this is good for the anime in the long run since in addition to keeping the hype alive, we'll get to see new stuff being added every couple of months or so.

Plus, we'll still have Ichigo when it's 2024 or something and that would make our year better in an instant. Wondering how we know about this? Here, we'll let the man himself spit the facts right here!

A LOT OF FIGHTS COMING YOUR WAY :

Tite has been super open about everything ever since the anime was confirmed not that long ago. He said himself that, while drawing the arc, he wanted to do a lot more fights, bouts that didn't end up happening but the fighters have been running rampant in his head for about 10 years now.

Well, all that pent up anger is going to be let out in the best way possible since the studio is making sure the best of the best gather to turn this reality something we could only dream of. With anime exclusive fights making the already ‘fight abundant arc’ have a lot to offer, how much sword fighting can a screen even handle?

THE QUINCIES ARE COMING :

This time around it’s neither the espadas, nor the fullbringers, not even Aizen is there. Or is he? But it’s time for the quincies to shine and show the world that Uryu isn’t the only one keeping that name alive. Yhwach and his gang have come to party and the Soul Society are going to have a tough time.
