The animated series premieres October 3, 2020 in Japan. This is an adaptation of the Visitor arc (Volume 9 to 11).
The novel The Irregular at Magic High School (Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei) by Tsutomu Satou debuted in 2008 as a web-novel then with ASCII Media Works editions & counts a total of 32 bound volumes in Japan.
The sequel, Zoku - Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei Magian Company, begins this Fall 2020 in Japan.
