Recently, Marvel presented the new release schedule for it's upcoming films, Which include Doctor Strange 2. This is happening due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The coronavirus is spreading all over the world, and everyone is now staying at home to protect themselves from the deadly virus.

But it’s not the only film affected by the virus. Films like Black Widow, The Eternals, Candyman, and many others slated to be released this year have now moved to another release date. 

So Marvel has taken this step to get people to watch the movie in theaters when the deadly coronavirus's effect becomes slower. It was originally scheduled to 
hit theaters in May 2021, and now the film is slated for November 5, 2021.




Other details about Doctor Strange 2 :

Feige also previously stated that Scott Derrickson was the director of part two. But after that, Derrickson pulled out of the sequel.

After the retirement of the first director, it is now Sam Raimi who will direct Doctor Strange 2. From the first film, the following stars will play in Doctor Strange 2: Benedict Cumberbatch in the role of Stephen Strange, Elizabeth Olsen in that of Wanda Maximoff, Benedict Wong in that of Wong, Baron Mordo in that of Chiwetel Ejiofor, There are two things that we will certainly see later. 

The first is that we will see the presence of multiverses in the film in general, and it will be a horror film according to the sources. The second is that we will have the opportunity to see Dr. Strange and the Scarlet Witch together in the sequel. 
They already have a team history in comics. 
The next Disney + show, WandaVision, would help her edit the film. Scarlet Witch will appear on the MCU show.
